The supermarket chain “Magniti” is trying to help consumers overcome the difficult period by offering great daily discounts. From April 27, customers will be able to get a 20% discount daily on one of the most in-demand categories at any Magniti store. Discounts will apply to different categories on different days: Monday – dairy products, Tuesday – meat products, Wednesday – frozen semi-finished products, Thursday – coffee/tea, Friday – chemistry-hygiene products, Saturday – alcoholic beverages, Sunday – non-alcoholic beverages. Saving 20% will be a great relief for the population in such a difficult situation.

The promotion is not the only action that the business took to help the public overcome the problematic situation. The 20% discount is not the first step taken by the company to support the community. After the declaration of a state of emergency in Georgia, Magniti implemented measures to maintain prices on the most demanded packaged products such as rice, pasta, sugar, oil, and flour. These products are sold without margin in the supermarket chain. The exchange rate fluctuations affect product prices; however, constant negotiations with suppliers and strategic initiatives taken by the management help Magniti manage the changes efficiently, so they are as painless as possible for customers” – said Ia Nadirashvili, Deputy Director-General of Magniti.
